Ahad, (14/08) SMP Darul Ihsan Muhammadiyah Sragen (DIMSA) menggelar kegiatan bertajuk seminar parenting yang ditujukan kepada seluruh wali santri kelas VII. Kegiatan tersebut berlangsung di Aula Ponpes Dimsa pada pukul 08.00 – 10.00 WIB. Pemateri didatangkan langsung dari Yogyakarta, yaitu Muhammad Erwan Syah, S.Psi, M.Psi. yang merupakan dosen psikologi Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani. Pemateri juga merupakan Owner Achievement Motivation Training Psycology Group (AMT-PG).
Kegiatan yang diikuti oleh 115 wali santri, bertema Orang Tua ‘Baper’ (Berani Ambil Peran). Seminar ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan potensi diri santri di Ponpes melalui kecerdasan majemuk yang melibatkan peran orang tua. Hal ini menjadi salah satu upaya Ponpes Dimsa untuk menyelaraskan tujuan dalam mendidik putra-putri terbaiknya. Dibutuhkan kerja sama serta dukungan yang kuat agar santri mampu melewati setiap proses belajar di lingkungan pondok pesantren.
Antusias para wali santri dalam mengikuti kegiatan sangatlah luar biasa. Hal ini terbukti saat sesi diskusi dan tanya jawab. Banyak wali santri yang bergantian mengajukan pertanyaan untuk didiskusikan bersama. Seperti yang disampaikan oleh moderator acara yaitu Ustadz Nur Wahyudi, S,Sos. “Suasana kegiatan begitu hidup dengan padatnya sesi diskusi oleh wali santri, meskipun sebenarnya mereka ingin segera bertemu dengan putra-putri kesayangannya.” Jelasnya.
Seminar dilanjutkan dengan penyampaian informasi sekolah yang disampaikan langsung oleh bapak kepala sekolah, Ustadz Wibowo Juli Saputro,M.Pd. sekaligus penjengukan santri. Ini merupakan penjengukan pertama bagi santri kelas VII setelah beberapa bulan menjadi santri Ponpes Dimsa. Kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu menjadi awal yang baik bagi orang tua dan santri untuk saling menyinergikan tujuan sesuai dengan minat, bakat, dan kemampuan anak.
