Mendidik santri untuk menjadi generasi yang bermartabat, bermoral dan berprestasi bukanlah suatu perkara mudah bagi sebuah sekolah. Namun, SMP Darul Ihsan Muhammadiyah Sragen (DIMSA) berhasil menjadi kawah candradimuka yang unggul di masyarakat. Senin, (25/10) Faris Abrori Nawa, salah satu santri DIMSA berhasil juarai KOSN tingkat Kabupaten Sragen sebagai pemenang satu cabang lomba olahraga pencak silat.
KOSN merupakan Kompetisi Olahraga Siswa Nasional yang menjadi salah satu ajang untuk mewadahi minat serta bakat siswa di Indonesia. Tak hanya Faris, Hanifah Fitri Ramadhani juga turut mengharumkan nama sekolah dengan menjuarai KSN bidang Matematika sebagai juara 2 di tingkat Kabupaten Sragen. Berbeda dengan KOSN, KSN merupakan Kompetisi Sains Nasional yang juga dikomandoi oleh Puspresnas.
Kompetisi yang digelar secara luring itu menjadi bukti nyata bahwa SMP DIMSA berhasil membuktikan tag line nya sebagai pondoknya para juara. “Kami mendukung penuh para santri yang memiliki bakat untuk turut bersaing dengan sekolah-sekolah lain, baik akademik maupun non-akademik.” Jelas Wibowo Juli Saputro selaku kepala sekolah SMP DIMSA.
Bakat tanpa dukungan tidak akan menjadi sebuah prestasi apabila tidak mendapat dorongan dari pihak sekolah dan para guru pembimbing. DIMSA bahkan selalu memfasilitasi santrinya untuk terus mencoba berbagai kompetisi akademik maupun non-akademik, baik luring maupun daring.
